junglejims photos has added a photo to the pool:
This view was from the end of the Hanalei Okolehao Trail. 2 1/2 miles oneway up. Its discribed as a real puffer 1,200 feet of elevation change. The last half mile is like climbing steps and ladders with all the roots and mud. From the top with a little walk around you can get 360 degrees of view. 270 from just the one spot. You can see 1/5 of the entire island of Kauai.

Mt Wai'ale'ale Kauai. The wettest place on earth. Rarely do you get a shot without clouds covering the top. This view was from the end of the Hanalei Okolehao Trail. 2 1/2 miles oneway up. Its discribed as a real puffer 1,200 feet of elevation change. The last half mile is like climbing steps and ladders with all the roots and mud.
